How to use the new Form builder

So again what we're going to do today. Go over building forms and maintaining those forms. a lot of you have previous What forms I'm in the for what you have to do is actually submitted technical support tickets now when you log in. When your dashboard you should see a community option those of you who are a website administrator? in that community module  mission forms here if you do have access to it those of you who are same forms for the 1St? If you would like to know more about this feature again feel free to reach out to us and again. I'm going to walk you through that process toward the end of the tree. So that you can either submit request or you can call in and we can definitely add this feature to your package. So again once you're in the community. You should have access to forms here.  So just a couple of things to note on before we get started. There is a ticket or option for you, so you can just get a brief overview of how to also. Again if you ever have questions, you know after you actually built your form how to add them to your site navigation. We're definitely going to go through. Options after our form is been created. So we have a few forms don't hear some of the options that you. Seems Mark, so if you would like to customize these texts just go ahead and click inside of that box and you can make changes to that text there also. Options for you if not we can just leave it as is. And I'm sure your first option so my short answer blah. Hey looks like and of course before I went to sleep required just going to check off that box. Man, I've never short answer option. last name in this is uh So again, I'm just choosing from the list that you seen here. I'm to create this form with everything. So you can add as many of these options that you need like I say I want to end the long answer that's more so if you wanting them to give an essay. A longer explanation just a few sentences again. It's all uploaded something new that you're going to see and then you have the option 2. Employee groups, so what are user with your employee groups all you need to do here again if you want to use multiple options just dragon drop. It's not. You can just use one of the options that you see here, so I walk into each one, so let's say you wanted to use check boxes. this can be one of those questions, maybe You know, how did you hear about us? And then you can enter for example through newspaper, or the Media or commercials or Flyers that would be able questions. You know that's a good example for using the check box option and you can also add your hints below you did. Many as you need this one other option.  You also have an option to use your multiple choice. so this can say something like  Which is about have this required and this container? Of course you can add additional fees if you need to. and then you the menu option Dragon drop I'm going to say current grade level for example. I did multiple options for the drop down menu and then there's also a table option here.  So in the event that you're wanting to add a table. This can be one of those questions where you're asking you know rate our website for example and you? Yes questions. You know. How did you wasn't easy for you to access your teacher pages, or how was the process of you entering the details to switch? To teacher pages stole the survey questions, and I'll just give you an idea what it looks like on the front end. We're going to enter a few options here. You can see you can add as many of these roles, Ocean beach. So course the columns would need to match that so we're going to say agree. You have 4 many options here?  So this is the text that you would find me.  bottom this form So I have no saved my form. So my form is now. cuz your it's added of the top of the list, so of course if any of the options that you see here have been adjusted if it's in alphabetical order for example is going to be 4 Miss depending on the title in that time you will be able to find it or you can find it by creator. So I've added my new form so keep in mind these. that you see to the right that's going to give you a few additional options to choose from just how to use the form prior to Public sizing it on your website you have a few options here. So you have the responses you can edit the storm you can set open and close date. Does it say I want this one to be scheduled to post now, and I wanted to close on a specific date so I can select this day here. Also, what the date 8:25. I'm going to save these changes. Now if you click advance form set up a few options to cover here, so you have notification. If you would like to send a you know confirmation to the user once they have submitted the form. You have the option to choose from here.  you can also for example if you know once the forms are submitted you have an Teen or a few staff members who you would prefer to receive notification once these submissions has been sent in you can add those email addresses as well. Customize your confirmation page. That's where you would make changes to your text here.  You can see they're also some form. videos  then you have additional options below the also keep in mind. You can. Mr. Submit your submit button name, so if you want this what to say send as opposed to submit you can make your changes. There's also a reset button that will allow your users to reset the entire form so that would mean anything those. Fields with the met Foreman they can just start from scratch.  When your form has ended or expired? Customize the message that you use a seat, so if you want to keep this message that you see here by default this form is closed. You're more than welcome to just leave it as it is. To make changes to your text after you've made the changes just click save and exit. And of course it's going to take you back to that original landing page. completed forms of mystic  also before we go to the share. Once you view on the public website so you can also see you have the copy and delete options as well, but I want to cover the new on public website. You can adjust that text accordingly.  So this is what you're submitting. Looks like it again. That's the button that you can customize so instead of it sing some it you can actually I've been button read then for example. So now I'm going to go back to the previous page where gave my list of forms that were created. and now I actually want to share this form within the site navigation or Watching take the link to this form and maybe send it out in the newsletter or I'm going to send that out for a bit late with in my pages. You have a few options here. so quick Share form  it's a what you need to do first is copy the link that you see here. Once you copy the link and let's say for example you want to add it to site navigation. I'm going to click. Navigation and it Redone rich you to the site navigation model.  So once your here of course you're going to decide which menu you want to update. What shape for temple? I wanted to add it under the admissions drop down menu or the academics drop down menus once you select one just click new item. And we're going to call this unless this call is student application. So because we're using good week. A lot of your voicemail you with how this is set up you would just click url here. and page that link below Done, and then apply changes to my website. Or form is now saying that we're going to do here. It's just go back to the home page and again anytime you want to see your changes reflected here. Just remember to your page  and under our admissions drop down menu. We should have our student application. So once I click seen application. It gives me the phone to complete. So I'm just going to complete this. I'm guessing you get an idea of what it looks like when the forms have been submitted. I'm just going to drag and drop. files I'm at the grade level. and submit  so you can see here once there has been an error with in the form. Your users will receive a message, so it says please fix the highlighted areas below before submitting.  so once tolls areas have been  those areas have been updated your user will be able to submit your form. So my phone number actually is not taking so I'm leaving to make an adjustment with how it's been added performer. Just to be sure that when the users add numbers they'll be able to take them because of a difference it seems and dashes and you can see here. It's still. taking that number, so Going to make a change in my form. so I just made the to my phone number, so I'm just going to  refresh just to see if it will allow me to add that option now. Just going to submit this form as is we've answered all of the required questions, so now our response. Has been submitted. so I'm going to actually go to the particular form that has been submitted, and then I'm going to actually go back until you the additional ways that you can add your form. Areas within your site outside of adding it just a second application.  so don't we've made adjustments to our site and Form that is on our site navigation.  So now what we want to do is.  Take a book. And I actually want to go there now. Let's go to the share form so we will have to go. So the first option that you had was too wink. to site navigation thing process if you're wanting to Michelle's because a lot of you know that you can link the photos within your shovels.  and within news and alert and Pages  So again, I'm just going to copy this week.  If I'm adding it to the shuffle. Going to click and if there's any photos that you want to link it to you can for example. I'm just going to text you this as quick photos and more. I'm going to use my formatting options Click the link. Bernard link this particular photos when I go back to the home page and refresh. What is click photo for more? our photo should redirect to that particular form Now other another option that you have here outside of linking to your shell. Is within your pages and within your news so again you're going to take the same link. it's already copied so you can actually go straight to me announced module and then If you already have a courage you know news articles. Add it to your siding you can actually edit the text to include or for example. You can. Link directly to a pain so you can include that url here, so a lot of you again. I'm very familiar with this area. This is where you create your news on alert, so if you want your users to be reset. That form you would just click link directly to a page and pasting url here.  And then the last option we have is to. Edit that within pages.  So once you get to your pages with your various categories you just decide which option would. I thought you would like to update.  So I'm going to go to the about section and less they for. Actually want to add a new page 2 this list. I'm just going to clean ad page.  Link to another page. And I can call this student apple. here clean that link below I'm going to open as a new tab and click save.  So we can you have various ways? Actually add your forms that you have completed in your various. Michael's open the Cms. So you have to shuffle you have your pages and you have site navigation.  all of which, you're just adding that Exactly that you call me once you were inside. of this year fisher option  So now what we're going to do is we have one completed form. Here's you just going to click the responses. I'm just going to give you this pain state Ip address 1st and last name phone number and date of birth. So once you begin to house. You know a complete list of responses when we actually go to one that gives you by the way. so I have a form here bring sample that has 15 responses, so if I want to download this to So warm I have that option here, it automatically downloads for me. So again you can build as many forms as you need. Once those forms are filled and you start gaining your responses of course those numbers will increase and you'll see the responses listed here, you can add that to an excel. so again Dragon Drop your fields here to build your form and then also one thing that I didn't cover let me go back to the previous form that was created. What's your forms are built let's say for example. You want to change the order of I mean, it's just like the game whether you're in your new your insight navigation your building or pages B6 docs that you see here allow me to dragon drop. The block around the page, so if you want to you know change the layout of this form of it, it's dragonfly. And you can also see here that the status of your pages always list. So if you feel like you know if that's something that you want to adjust as well.  You would set up your opening close date. So again once you login for those of you who do have access to.  this is Administrator's when you login to your dashboard, and you have access to forms you're going to find it in your community module.  if you do Access to forms you're more than welcome to either submit a ticket to technical support. You can call in or you know just send us an email. We'll get you in contact with my person to getting you all set up and you can start creating those forms for your various schools. One thing that I do want to cover is how do it either submitted ticket or call into technical support? When you log in and it's not just your admins, but you know I have to reiterate this with any training, but your staff if they have access to. You know their own pages they have access to technical support as well, so that's inclusive of the health center. There's a teacher and a website administrator. Call them for them to access.  When you can see here, this is. Site that we created, and I'm feeling actually a lot of you have never even access the health center. So you know take a look there to see it. Your answers can be some of your questions can be answered prior to you may be submitting a ticket you may actually find your answer listed there, and then we have. It's neil support. So this is actually where you would create your technical support tickets, or you have the option to call in. Apple support we provided the toll free number here for you, and the hours that you see listed to the left of that phone number. They are specifically set for your time Zone. So I'm on pacific time now. So what you see here are the hours specifically listed for me Monday through Friday? Someone walk you through the process of creating a ticket really quickly some of you are familiar with this process and some of you are not once you go to create your tickets. Your primary email address is 364 you if you would like to include additional contact information. Maybe it's an email address or phone number feel free to do so An instruction to you would enter the details of your ticket. So right now although it is our busiest time of year. Technical support does tried to get in and out of those I'm taking you within 72 business hours, but keep in mind that does depend on the type of ticket that you are submitting. In section 3 is where you to add all of your attachment. So if you're having trouble with specific areas, or just what your A drink here I keep in mind if you do call technical support. It's going to be difficult for them to look over a form number one. That a link where they would need a link sent to them, so if you would like technical support to add it in a specific area and you submitted a ticket. submit that link in the instructions  So you can add attachment here and then submit your ticket now once your ticket. I submitted you will be given 8. Number is that ticket number is how you communicate with technical support Via ticket. So you will receive an email that I'm some stuff something like this. Hi to your ticket, and if you still have questions, you can just reply to that email. If not your ticket will be closed out, and so your status that you see here. Close and I was just letting you know the changes have been completed, and you're free to continue making changes to your site. So that this is not just specifically. You know one for this is general if you have questions with different areas within the CMs feel free to call in or submit your tickets to technical support. And they will be more than happy to assist you outside of that. If you all do not have any questions again, we have someone from Jen.
