Hello everyone, thank you for joining us this morning. My name is Matt Woods with Edlio, and I'm actually here to introduce you to our new parent communications platform called Sangha. Actually joining us in this meeting is going to be Emily, she's actually going to be answering questions so if you have any questions please go ahead and type those in and she should be filling in those while I kind of run the webinar. So I'm going to start it. First and foremost I can introduce you to a little of the back story about Sangha. Edlio has been in the website communication field for about 16 years now and we actually felt that we needed some communication platform that actually reached parents directly, so we did our research and looking at companies out there, and we came across a company called Sangha, which actually means community in Sanskrit and they had a really really easy platform that is unlike anything else really in the market right now and I'm going to run through a couple of slides right here and then jump directly into the actual platform and show you it in action, in real time. But first and foremost, it consolidates all of your communications with parents into one centralized platform. It handles communications both text and voicemail also setting up parent-teacher conferences and also handling your calendar events as well but the real good thing about it is that calendar events are actually called actionable calendar events which means that you can actually act on those if you need to RSVP, sign up for anything, you can even make payments or fill out forms through the the app itself, but let's jump into the company slides right here and really get into the Bread Butter of it which is a the app in action. So I'm just going to very quickly jump through these slides. So this is basically showing you is consolidating multiple channels, multiple messengers, messaging with parents in groups together, it allows home, school and district wide messaging in one centralized area. Also, it's kind of what we could do. We see about a 85% emgagement ratio with this app, which is unheard of in the education- communication platform area market, however you'd like to say that. 85% engagement ratio with your parents which again is off the charts. We've done the research and know that we see most of the time about 5% engagement ratio so clearly in another ballpark when it comes to engagement. And the very last slide, basically pulling everyone together again- administration, teachers, groups of parents all can be active on the Sangha platform. So now that we have that out of the way, we can virtually get into it and show you what's capable of and how easy it is to use. Let's pull this down. So this is actually the Sangha platform when we first login. We actually are looking at the web administrator view. We see every single person's classes within our Hamilton Elementary demo school. Most of the time when teachers login, they're only going to actually see their individual classes that appear on here because teachers are what we're calling upon teaching acting on each of these items to really make sure that they're up to date with their individual classes. This is actually my calendar here for all of my classes here. Let me jump back here. Here is actually all of the administrator views so we can see all of the calendar events for this particular school. Let me jump into English to show you the first and foremost the actual calendar because I think that's the most differentiating factor between our system and any other one on the market right now. When we log into creating a new event. So we're just going to be just like creating any other kind of calendar event when we first login here. So we have our little area that's all forms based, everyone has seen something like this before. Our system is very forms based, very icon based, social media-esque, so it's very inviting for people that are maybe a little more technophobic than others. So a little quick rewind where we first jumped into, it's just like any other kind of reminder on a calendar it's just going to let you create an event and let you see it as an event. What we really want to show you is the difference in the factors, which are going to be the sign-up events. I'm going to jump into the sign-up events first and foremost. So I'm just going to create an event called Welcome to Sangha. So a title, a little short summary right there, you can add attachments, so if I wanted to very quickly grab a document from my desktop so I'm just going to go grab this features and services, add that right in here and then just like any other calendar event, we're going to pick a date and time so I'm going to do the 26th, I'm going to say the event happens at 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Since I'm a website administrator, I can see all these little classes in here so I can do schoolwide district-wide if I need to as well, but for demo purposes, I'm just going to select my particular class because that's all I really want so I'm going to focus on my class really all these demo purposes so anyone else that has download the app is not going to be seeing these messages. And then down here, this is where it really starts branching off from everything else. Required events, you can actually sign up for RSVP, so if some event we want to get a headcount for, we're going to say we want to have an RSVP event on the 26th, we want to have an RSVP count on the 24th. There's a big capacity - we're going to do 100, and we're going to say there's a maximum of 2 guests allowed per student. We're just going to click save as draft because we're going to add some other things. We're going to add volunteers now volunteer to help the kids with field trip. Any optional notes you want to add to that. Also you can add shifts to this kind of volunteering so if there is a shift, a timeline you can go in here and say there's a 9:00 to 10:00, we can do sign-ups we're gonna do 2 sign ups, and if you add a secondary shift, there's some built-in logic to the system that'll say this hour long shift that's first we're going to create a secondary volunteer opportunity right here where I can have the exact same hour-long with 2 sign-ups fine and it continues on down unless you want to make any modifications to it. And then we are going to save that task and then we can move on to maybe bringing items, you know juice boxes, sign-ups, we need 2. Save item. Now we can actually start adding forms with this platform and we can add as many different forms as you'd like to it. The system's going to tap into the student database whichever one you might be using we actually use a a third party system called Clever, that really allows any kind of connection with this current student database. We're currently working on another option that's actually going to bypass through this, should be up and running shortly but for now we do have a system that will you have access to all the students in the databases and where it's going to go ahead and grab the permission slip that we have in our system right now so we're going to select that. We can kind of scroll down here we have it both in English and Spanish right now but the nice thing is when a parent logs into the system, the system and the student database are going to work together and it's actually going to fill out your child's name here, it's going to fill out the destination, the teacher for this actual here right down here to And right down here at the bottom, this is actually where it's going to allow parents to do a digital signature and file this permission slip for their child's field trip or whatever it might be. So I'm going to do for the 24th as well and again we're going to really quick save it as draft, come back up to the top here. And finally, we're actually going to go into this one called payment right here so I'm just going to select payments. Now we can actually pay for this event. We have a couple different campaigns we have set up in here, this can all be manipulated to whatever you'd like to do some generic ones we have even filled for you. You can also do fundraising and donations. You can also do individual items in your tickets. So we're actually going to do field trips for this one, $10 And again, you can have multiple accounts to choose from so if there's one account for field trip funds, there's one account for donations, there's one account for tickets, you can access all the accounts right here. Right now the system is using Stripe to collect these funds through credit card processing on here so we can actually do that right through those funds right there. The nice thing about it is the system is smart enough again with built-in logic so that there are transactions fees, it's going to move that to the parent, not to the school so you're not actually eating those transaction fees. So this would only be like $10.40 or something along those lines not sure exactly what it's going to come out to, but we'll actually see here in a second. And if you're happy with everything, you can go ahead and publish the event. And actually I have a little app here that is going to be emulating our iPod that I have here on the side. Publish to parents. Jump back here, and here I can get a push notification on the iPod that I actually have right next to me notifying us about this event that was actually just created through the Sangha platform. Next to right here at the very top corner with that little one emblem that's actually going to be Our Sangha app here, and there you go right there- Welcome to RSVP. I'm actually going to tap on it and it's going to take us directly into this event that we just created for the demo purposes. [inaudible] Welcome to Sangha. So this is what the actual event looks like for the parents on there smart device right here. The teacher is Jane Driver so she is the organizer of this. So right here we can actually act upon all those items. So first and foremost is the RSVP right here so we can go ahead and select 2 people will be attending so I'm just going to check okay and it's going to actually show in real time on the back end here it's going to show that we have people responding to this actual RSVP. So let's refresh real fast, go back into this event and it's actually going to show you in real time that we have RSVP'd for this so here's our little RSVP and we can see 2 out of 100. We can click on that and we can actually see that Antonio Brown's mom has actually accepted the RSVP and for 2 people and sorry, all of my parents are going to be Steelers football players, so anyone not a Steelers fan I apologize in advance and we'll jump back here to the app and kind of show you all these other things. So we can jump right down to the volunteers. So we have 2 volunteer opportunities right here, I can actually just click on that one and sign up for that first volunteer spot right there. Jump back. We can actually bring juice boxes if we want again just tap on it and this is able to actually volunteer. Or a commitment you didn't want to do, it you can actually cancel as well right through the app as well, unsigning up basically. And then we'll go down to the forms module, this is our field trip, if we do have more than one child in the system, it'll actually let us select multiple kids. For our demo purposes we have one child, so we've selected Antonio Brown, select Agree, and now I can actually go through the actual form itself and come down here to the bottom where I can actually do that digital signature for releasing of my child to go on the field trip. I'm not going to go ahead and complete that, it's a little bit of a longer process, I'm going to jump right back into the payments. So this is actually going to allow us to purchase items here. Again, I can actually set multiple children if I have, if I do have them in the system, and actually go ahead and put in my credit card information again it's using Strike, it actually processes the credit cards. So that's kind of the actual calendar portion of it, so it's really it's very intuitive you get a notification immediately as soon as the app comes through right on your smartphone with that push notification, you'll actually also have multiple people doing demo series, I apologize for that, you also get a notification the day before that actual event, and you'll also get a notification the morning of that event, so we really want to make sure that the parent knows that it's going on. So I'm going to go ahead and jump into one of the other really neat tricks we have between here and that is actually setting up an event that you can actually create like a parent-teacher meeting. So a lot of schools and districts utilize systems specifically for setting up parent-teacher meetings. The Sangha app actually has it built right into it. And again I'm just going to push it to my individual class I can select the meeting date of course it will be the 27th and I can select times that parents can meet between, we'll do 9 and 2. I can select the actual meeting duration time so you can just actually have a hard stop with parents to make sure that they are going to be able to see everything. So we'll just leave it at 15, and I'm gonna do a 5 minute break in between meetings to get teachers settled before they have their next meeting with the parents. If I'm happy with everything, I'm going to click create meeting times. The system's going to automatically populate all of these meeting times here that parents can actually select from. So I'm going to publish this to parents. And I'm gonna wait again for that notification to come through almost instantaneous. Click on that event and it's going to take me directly into this parent teacher meeting where I can then select the actual meeting and then I can select the time that works best for me as as a parent. SoI I'm just going to go ahead and select the middle 11:20 and now that time is greyed out for every other parent, no one else can select that slot. Again, right on here, if I want to as a teacher, a parent has emailed you or something like that, hey I want to get the 9:00 time, as a teacher I could even come in here and actually go in here and select that parent for this particular time so if they're kind of more old-school and want to do it that way you can absolutely do it so. Click save. So now we can actually see here is Hines Ward's timeslot here and then Antonio Brown right here again in real time. So actionable calendars are super cool. You can also do some other things with this. You can also do messaging with the app as well. It isn't just a calendar based system, it's also a direct messaging with individual parents or groups of parents. The nice thing about our system is also that it will store all this data because a lot of states will mandate that any electronic communication with parents be stored for you no future verification sort of thing, so any sort of conflict or anything like that that you need to go back and look through electronic communication, it's going to be stored directly in with the system. We are currently going through FERPA certification right now so it will be a 100% FERPA certified very shortly so if there's any questions along the line, yes we are in that process right now. So what is quick and easy is I'm going to go down her and select Antonio Brown's mom so we can actually see [inaudible] "Hello" Click send. And again jump back over to it we'll see we now have a text from Jane Driver which is the teacher I'm currently signed in as. So I just select Antonio Brown as a direct communication, just like iMessenger iMessage on iPhone or any regular text message. So a pretty secondary form of communication is what we call an announcement. These announcements are basically like daily updates going on in your child's class so a teacher can actually create these announcements. So I'm just going to click on new announcement right here. And again, on this I'm going to select my particular class and we have all the former announcements going to be stored here so if we want to we can use any of these of former announcements right here or to create a brand new one. We can of course we can attach any files or documents that are going to be pushed right here so I'm just going to attach a quick little picture here. Also, if you wanted to, you can actually do a voice announcement as well on here because the system which I'm going to get into, is really smart and allows multiple avenues of occasion not just through the app, but through text message, through voicemails, through emails as well so we can actually punch our phone number in here and really just need a script just like a little message right here it wouldn't be a problem. But then right down here this actually allows the teacher to decide how does the parent want to receive this, what type of messages are going to be. A daily digest, or a digest for this purpose, is going to allow the teacher just to push out this notification to parents and they just have to receive it once a day. The system is smart enough in the district or school setting if you have multiple kids or multiple teachers, that if all the teachers are going to do this, the system is going to gather all of those messages or announcements that the two different teachers have put out and put it in a single daily digest that then the parents can actually see multiple ways the way they want it. First and foremost right down here, you see the little Sangha icon and the number 2, that means two parents have downloaded this app right now and they're actually going to be seeing the digest or any notifications through the app. There is also an email right here, because the system portal will send you emails if you haven't downloaded the app same with the little bubble here, that's text message, or I will show you here, there is also an audible call - it will automatically call you and leave you this announcement. For everyone that also has Edlio, which seems most of the people on this, this allow you to cross post this over to the school's website and also cross post this over to corresponding social media feeds. Again, if you're a teacher that doesn't have access to this, you will not see actually the website or the social media post that will allow you to cross over. But there's also some other types of announcements. There's immediate, which will wait for all the other teachers to actually post their announcement, it's actually going to send it out immediately to the best phone contact. Or this emergency, which is really going to reach out to all four communication platforms. We're going to send it as a notification through  the app, we're going to send the notification to the parents via email, we're going to give them a text message, and we're going to give them a call. So there is something really big going on at the school, we want that information going out immediately to all avenues. And that kind of wraps up this very quick demo to show you what that slide actually looks like here. Let me pull up one here, So this is actually what the slide looks like there's a little notification, and then you can see the communication, you can see the actual message and this is obviously what it looks like on my smart device right here. So very neat tool no one else really has that actionable calendar portion, no one else has that integration with Edlio, because the system is using Edlio to allow you to cross post over to the website allowing you to actually log back and forth between your Edlio website and the Sangha platform so I'm actually jumping back over here to the Edlio portion so when you do sign up, you'll get this little extra portion right here that says Sangha and this allows you to kind of bounce back and forth and it's using all of your Edlio credentials to log into to Sangha. So that's pretty much the system in a nutshell I know Emily's been probably building some questions on the back end, but we are recording this demo for future purposes so if anyone would like to, I know I will actually get it over to Emily now in one of our email blasts that we send out to you guys, so please let me know if there's anything that we can do for you.
