Alright, everyone I think we are ready to get started! Thank you so much for joining us for this MyEdlio webinar where we will be talking about all the different integration you can add to your at Leo site and Leo arm is to make the lives of Educators easier through approachable and Powerful technology we focus exclusively on K through 12 communities we power over 15,000 schools and districts across the country and around the we were founded about 20 years ago keeping with that Spirit we have added these Integrations to make your lives the Educators with this approachable and Powerful technology so let's look at the at the agenda for now what kind of Integrations do we offer with your edlio site now first one out online office suites than Google and Microsoft weather comes to signing into your at the admin site a password protected area your Google classroom do teachers a calendar so your community can stay up-to-date on all the exciting things happening at your school you looking to bring in files and PDFs over from your cloud storage or even SEO and analytics to bring more trap to your beautiful beautiful at Leo site. You can go ahead and integrate those online office suites here and I'll show you how to do that in just a little bit here next episode from media let's say you're already amazing at sending out news and alerts via your ad Leo sign now you're pushing out alerts using the school news app which you know is included with your subscription I always like to note that his 2022 we need to get this stuff on social media to make sure we're getting as many eyes on it as possible we make it easy for you to share updates up from your Aunt Leo site to your Facebook and Twitter accounts now Last of Us student information systems at sis and this is huge for your contact list easily reach out to your entire School Community to send out a newsletters or if you have the broadcast feature how you can go ahead and use your contact list to send out important emergency notifications to your entire School Community without having to constantly update them in your DMs manually how you integrate your sis which will replace I need a manual entries and CSV file upload which in turn helps you reduce the time spent on maintaining an organized and contact information which will also have a huge impact on the accuracy and timeliness of your data now why should you be using these integration what are the benefits of it a number one stream on your work as a former educator I know just how much you all have on your plates right now so I would often take any solution I could have to stream on my work which gives you the opportunity to improve your efficiency I'm a big proponent of working smarter not harder and utilizing those tools that I'm sure almost everyone watching this webinar is utilizing at least one of these tools I'm at the one we talking about today so everyone like someone who's efficient in their work so why not take that you know this app tunity to do so and with that ability to stream on your work and improve your efficiency comes more time to focus on your students and school community at large that's what this is all about right serving and engaging them utilizing these integration will allow you the opportunity to focus on what's most important here as a school leader all right now first up let's talk Google we offer several different Google Integrations are because they make it so seamless and easy to work with your day today tools first off SSO single sign-on know if your school utilizes Google or Google Apps for Education or G suite for their email it's super easy to use those same account to log into your Atlas EMS why would you want to do that where is the main answer is Simplicity and security right reducing the number of password you have to remember and wear those users manage makes things so much easier for my web admins out there you also really can't beat their account security out there they have two Factor authentication password reset flows on their choosing intrusion detection that's just something you really can't beat the really quite impressive so that that is why we always always recommend going on the SSO route if possible now how do you get this on your site what do you do to start you'll need to go to the Google API console to set up a project with the appropriate apis enable concrete credentials sent over to us you know our tech support team you also need to contact our support team through your admin site to request the JavaScript Origins and redirect you or eyes that you will need it during the setup process no I'll hop over here to this admin say I am walking to the Elio College Prep admin site as Daniel Benson a webadmin like over here to help and contact edlio support you can go ahead and submit a case there so if you know if you need any help you know I'm setting up your SSO go ahead come down here at a new case and we will give you what you need to get everything set up through that Google API console none except we're going to be talkin Google Classroom another feature for our Educators out there you cannot beat the ease-of-use first staff and students are accessibility communication capabilities data analysis and the ability to differentiate instruction with Google classroom is reason we want to make it so simple for you to any great your Google classroom with your edlio seat with your auntie of sight for the teachers in your school so it's hot back over here to the admin site now first of all for the web Edmonds I'm going to show you how to enable Google classroom for your entire site then I'm going to go ahead and ask the teacher here to connect my Google class to my account here I'm so I can I post so I can post assignments from the abuse EMS I'm out for the web Edmonds out there you want to go ahead and turn on Google Classroom integration here so you can do that by going to Hamburger drop-down menu site management and then settings go to classroom and just make sure he ran Abel Google Classroom integration that is set to yes and you can save awesome now before teachers can start adding a classes to his current term you have to set up a timer for them as well so we go here to the hamburger drop down menu go to classes terms you want to make sure there's a current term set up if not you can go up here to create a new term and to your name start and ate there and then once you do that teachers will be able to go ahead and their Google classroom with other account on the other ocms here we can do that now as a teacher the hamburger drop-down menu classes classes flash assignments over here to my classes all right and then Google Classroom integration add class to connect your account to a class here all right so I can either add a new edlio class or import from Google Classroom so go ahead and import all right it gives gives me my three classes I currently have three classes set up in Google Classroom so I'll go ahead and add this and this one here next which department he wanted to be in at connect and add classes all right perfect milk that we under my classes we have my English class right here when you go there to assignments currently and' add a new assignment straight from the Edlio CMS here. Pretty cool! If I want to go ahead and copy info on file for my pastor Simon I can do that here using the Search tool it's it's pretty powerful again Google Classroom integration make me a lot easier offer teachers out there to use their Elias EMS to get all of their work done and won't stop back over here are some next up Google Calendars that school calendars in the aliases best can import events from Google Calendars once this is set up you can update and manage event in Google Calendar and the calendar on your website will automatically update let's see how we can do that or I will come down here to cite management settings go to calendars the person who want to add a calendar here so call this one spring Athletics will save that cool now we want to go ahead and connect our Google Calendar with the spring Athletics calendar we just made here I'm going to connect Google Calendar here I want to sign in with Google I so these are all the different calendars I have access to I want to sweat to this one cuz this is the one I want to connect all right awesome that would come down here at Spring Athletics calendar we have and we can see here right over here ECP Athletics calendar this is connected here we can sync it now go to pull in all the events right now but again it'll automatically do that for you again really easy to go ahead and integrate that calendar with your ad Leo's TMS alright I'm coming back over here last thing I wanted to look at with Google is Google analytics now what is Google analytics that it is an incredibly powerful tool to find out more about the people who view your website we see this mainly used for private schools and we found that the data collected can have a big act on your enrollment at it you'll need to go to analytics. Google.com go through the setup process and obtain a tracking ID it should look like what is UA and Then followed by a Siri of numbers once you have that why should go back over here to the Elias EMS in Australia where to add that so we're here in settings remember we get there by going to site management and settings hard to come down here to SEO and marketing and this is where you going to go ahead and add that ID for Google analytics you'll start seeing data in Google analytics in about 24 hours off from the different visitors to your site and different information you can pull from that it's pretty cool play powerful definitely recommend doing it all right now let's move on to Microsoft without as many Integrations are with Microsoft as we do with Google but still enough that if you're already utilizing them using these Integrations will make your life so much easier purse up SSO single sign-on we are going to discuss that with with Google Now Microsoft SSO allows organizations that use Office 365 to log into their Elias EMS using those same accounts it makes it easier for them to login in here for you as a web admin to manage those users to set that up you'll need to create an active directory on Windows Azure once that's completed you'll need to create an Azure active directory application now it's important to know before you begin please please please contact Elio support via your CMS to request the right to request a reply URL that you will need to set this up again you want to go ahead and get that support get that help from our support team go up here to help contact Elio support down here open a new case and we will go ahead and get you that reply URL to setup Microsoft SSO at once that's completed your login will look similar to screen right now and you and your staff will be able to use other Microsoft potentials to login pretty cool or I have calendars at the setup for that is essentially the same thing I just showed you with a Google Calendar you going to go in there two calendars I'm going to let you know Adam calendar and then you're going to connect your Office 365 calendar up to the Elio counter you just created again it'll pull in the event from your Microsoft calendar to your at the in calendar on you're making it a lot easier to get that updated all right I wanted to share you with Microsoft Integrations here is one drive and I'll show you how you can actually access either file saved in the cloud on both OneDrive and Google Drive so there's a few places that you would see the ability to do this I want to show you over here how you can do that to actually will go to the media and photos all right we're going to an album that we already have created a few press upload here and upload it'll give you the option to upload from Dropbox Google drive or Microsoft OneDrive I like your sign into your account and you can go ahead and pull in anything that you have saved in word cloud storage right now let's look at our social media Integrations for supper we have social media manager. This will allow you to post yours to school or District Twitter and Facebook pages to read from your admin site what's up back over to the admin site will to Hamburger drop-down menu announced social media manager and from here you can see all the past up host that we have here make and manage your accounts up here click manage accounts I'll bring it to the settings here for your social media that you can connect both a Twitter and Facebook accounts are rose right now those are the two social media accounts that we allow you to connect now it is important to note that if you are going to be utilizing Facebook you do need to have a Facebook developer account is pretty easy to set up but Facebook does not allow a personal pages to post from third parties so you do need to have a developer account set up in order to be able to push anything from your other ocms to your Facebook page but Twitter set up I'm pretty easier now you do not need a developer account at the moment all right so I guess we'll go back over here to our souls for me manager all right is create new post he said where you want to post to get add photos add videos go on and go ahead and put your message down here and when you want to post it pretty simple to use you can actually also push out any news and alerts that you might have a credit in the past directly to your Twitter and Facebook account do that we go hear the hamburger drop that menu we go to announce news and alerts so I'm going to show you would like a new story that we've already posted here how we can go ahead and do that so it's already posted it to announce all right we go here to our social media manager I was going to pull in that photo and the summary of your story here so you can go ahead and push out that story directly to your school audience on your social media pretty cool I will hop back over here to the last time we looking at today and that is our student information system in a grecians integrate your edlio site with your sis student information system to improve and streamline your contact list this integration will replace Emmanuel entries and CSV file upload helping you reduce the time spent on maintaining an organizing contact information and it greatly enhancing accuracy and timeliness of your data now when does this help the most when you do Isaac newsletters or our broadcast feature which I need to send texts voice calls emails in an emergency situation you'll easily be able to pull contact list and add data from your sis to immediately get this timely information out to parents and school community members currently have direct integration with PowerSchool Aries Skyward and illuminate the setup process is wildly different on each of these I won't be able to demonstrate these to you today but we do have excellent help center articles on Getty integrated with your site is your sis not listed here no worries reach out to your CSS about our generic and Porter to help pull in data from your chosen as is that both integration and that broadcast feature I with the voice calls text and email those are discussing earlier those are all add-on features to please reach out to your CSS your client success specialist for any questions or pricing info to get started today all right and I think that will just about wrap everything up for today thank you all so much for joining us if you have any questions about your sight anything and Leo related at all please reach out to your client success specialist who's always happy to help not sure who you're dedicated CSS is please reach out to client success at Ed Leo.
