Welcome to our 15 minute lunch and learn webinar. Thank you so much for joining us today! We will be focusing on add-on features available for Edlio PAY. We do have a technical representative in the chat today who can answer any questions that you may have. Let's get started! So today I'll be talking a little about OTR, OMS, and SIS. OTR is Online Teacher Receipt. It is the cashier point-of-sale system to take in-person purchases of cash check and credit cards. I do have to let you know that it is the same set up as the online web store, just a different added way to purchase products in person. So the way it would work is the payment for the student is brought in. The payment is receipted. The receipt is printed and/or emailed to the parent. Then the receipts are deposited and taken to the bookkeeper. The bookkeeper receives the deposit from the receiptor and the bookkeeper will go ahead and/or administer the product that was purchased for the student. Then for cash and check there are no transaction fees. The way it would work for the card payment is the same. The bookkeepers is going to create the product. The payment for the student is brought in the payment is receipted. The credit card is charged. Then the receipt printed and or email to the parents and the money is deposited and a statement is generated. For the credit card payment there is a transaction fee which is 4% + $0.35. So it is basically the same as a parent purchasing a product from the parent web-store. Except that when you pay in cash and check there is no transaction fee. If you pay in credit card then same transaction fee applies. So we can go in here and this should be familiar to everybody. This is the login for your OSMS management portal. This is a test site so I'm going to be using the test school. To get to OTR (online teacher receding) go to transactions - receipt entry. Then you would look up the product that the student wants to purchase. So let's say that they want to make a $50 donation and they want to purchase that field trip for their student. You would select the "add" button and it's going to put it in the cart. Same goes for the field trip. I'm going to add it and check out. As you see here, if i pay in cash, there is no service fee. If I decide to pay by credit card the service fee 4% + $0.35 will populate. So with OTR, you can purchase the Rambler or you can manually type in the card information. You can type it in and you can put the month, year, and the CVV. Or you can swipe it. The same process would go if you do a cash or check payment. Like I mentioned before, no service fee. Let me show you how you can put a product up on OTR. You would go to Transaction - OSP Products. If you only want it to show up in OTR. Then you would click on "edit", select "additional options", and scroll down below "OTR use only". The reason why you would select this, is if you don't want the product available in the parent webstore and you want to be able to have in-person purchases. Otherwise you can unclick it and it would appear both in the parent web store and the Online Teacher Receipting (OTR). (pause) So you can filter this by your school, your students, and then you can also filter the product by no student ID required. Now we can go back here.. So Online Mobile Swipe (OMS) It is a school facing app that can be dowloaded from the Android or iPhone. I took some screenshots just because it is an app and I can't necessarily look at an app on the computer. But is basically the same as a parent webstore. You can look it up you can look up your school by state and then county. You can make an account and you can pay for your products. Last but not least... Student Integrations. It basically connects a purchase to the student. This is great for student obligations! I know a couple of districts that use this for senior fees, school care fees. So what we would need for this is: first name, last name, and the student ID that the school uses. The way we would add this is if we go to students - student information. Like that screenshot that just showed up. (example) we can edit and delete students as they graduate or as they're no longer a student there. Like I said, this is really helpful if you want to tie a specific purchase to a student. So if you have Peter, Bill (example) He has senior fees. Then you can tie his senior fees to him. Then the parent and/or purchaser will not be allowed to purchase anything until that specific obligation is met. We can turn that blocker off as well and just have it appear there that way the parent is aware that they have obligations that they need to pay. As I mentioned before, OTR, OMS,and SIS are added on features.
