In this recording, we show you how to get your school ready for the new school year with Edlio Pay, including how to remove outdated items from your store.

alright everyone will be getting started so thank you all for joining our adliya pay webinar today don't worry if you get pulled away from the presentation we will have a syllable shortly Hunter I'm also with closed captions added if you need to ask a question you should see a chat box in the top left-hand corner you can take your question in the chat window and we'll answer them Dan to the webinar if we don't get question today we will do our best to you at the follow-up email and I tech support is also here to help her here to answer your questions and again thank you all for joining us today we're going to be going over back to school how much is just kind of going over some tips of the okay for back-to-school I give you one moment and I'm going to switch the screen that I'm sharing all right you should be able to see my management portal screen right now here is where I even log in and see sorry here's where you be able to login so I can see and see on the left rear of the news feed where we have the information that should be a familiar if you are currently using ugly okay start guys all that so I'm the first thing I want to do is go to transactions in the screen menu the third item and go down to OST products and I want to show you how we can use items that we had for sale last year for this year and make the transition from last year to this year a lot easier so if you have products that you sell every fall you know maybe it's PE uniforms field trip that you repeat uniforms Banfi anything like that rather than having to create it over and over and over again you can simply just up just a copy of it so I'm going to include an active here and click the magnifying glass and let's find an item from the fall of 2019 that we can use an example okay so here we have this right here have this field trip to Lady Liberty that we did a couple years ago and the fall okay maybe we are doing that again this year we're going to pretend that travels and not a problem and that we're going on this trip again this year so I would just come over and clean edit and here I can see all of the information for the field trip that we did the year prior going it's going to be the same okay so what I'm going to do is come down and click copy this allows me to make a copy so I only have to make a minor changes to this product and now the copy has been made a good way to know that you are on the copy of the activity and not the original is if you look appear at the top there's no activity number that shows that this has not been saved yet so we know where on the copy now okay so here we have the short description so you know it's a different here maybe the state is different so let's just check a calendar for what date we would actually be leaving on that trip would maybe be December 18th so we will just update. Here okay and we have all of that information. time for payment will just say that we're keeping in the same the same teachers running it but we just need to change the dates available for sale so that way it's relevant to this year we just click those new days September 8th 20 okay we pick the date that we wanted to be available sale and then the date that we would like it to come offline so he said November 30th would be the final day so we just do it for 20 20 alright so we are all that updated everything else is the same and then we can just pass the year here and click save all right it's now safe we have that activity number there we know that this is the new one for 2020 and then September 28th this product will go live in our store and will be able to purchase it for the trip this year so there we took a product that we use every year and made it super easy for us just you make that copy so we can use it again rather than having to come in and create a so everything that you repeat every year you can just come in and make a copy update whatever field you need to update and you're ready this next stop okay so let's go back to OST products and you know let's pretend that we have a teacher who has left and replacing them with the new teacher we can do something called a bulk update so how is your data speaker to this additional features button and like I said we're going to do by teacher so we could just do select sponsor teacher and select the teacher that we watch to replace and then click the magnifying glass can't we just have this one to replace it we're going to click edit and change the sponsor teacher we can either do a search and pick the person that we want to change it to or we can type it right in I was just fixing myself picture of new teacher quick select is automatically updated and we now saved it we can go back to OSU products and sign General donation to the school and the teacher will be updated I was trying like everything so we can just search Tunisia search or we could even just do it by sponsor t-shirt because we know who we changed it to there is General donation for school and we now have Darren Aronofsky instead of that Gal Gadot teacher so we were able to make that update for the new general donation to the school okay until you saw me click thanks because it's not an active product you can just click include an active I would bring it up and it shows you can do different searches for certain products up here and so that's how you can do those things to do the quick update so the way they can any of these spell copies this additional filters and then let's just go ahead and do it for Darren Aronofsky cuz he has more okay and then we're going to click the magnifying glass to make sure we have all of them and out over here on the right we can click include but we can click the book update button and here we can make changes and update. So we have 16 products that are selected for Darren arnaud so we could pick the sponsor teacher we would want to change it to I'm so let's say that we're going to change it here and then we just click the box here and then click apply book update and it will change call Darren Aronofsky use items to J hall and it was a mess inc.com and you can adjust to date if you need to come in this Pond account where I can actually make those changes is how you would okay another thing I'd like to show you were going to jump over to the store so I can show you what this looks like so this is the store this is what your parents see see when they go shopping so you can see in the store over here on the left we have a couple of drop-down so these are categories that we've created that allow us to sort our products to make a cleaner more organized shopping experience for our parents so we can see we have the back to school supplies option and right now there's nothing in back to school supplies we were able to create this category back to school supplies so that way we can on like I said filter those items in there so you know let's go ahead and create a product is to put into that category so if we go back to our minutes we can add new active on the right hand side and we're going to do a 2020-2021 agendas and we'll just say that the agendas include information on the schools holidays and maybe like sporting event and musical events schedules okay I will talk to you after the sponsor teacher is Oregon we can you type it in are the teacher and then we can change those dates you want for sale I'm going to go ahead and make it today and then let's say that the only sell them through the end of the first semester all right this would be a fixed price item because it's just one set price we're going to eat them $15 so that's our fund account and then there's no grade levels like a book here so we're going to click safe okay so now we save this product me know cuz there's that activity number there it exist so we are going to go back to transactions and then OST category and we want to go to back to school supplies so we can that item there so these have already been created in order to create a new category you have to have a product to put in it on all show you how to create a new one next so we're going to go to back to school supplies and click edit and we're going to find out a gender we just created plexus Arrow to move it over so tender and start these are the shows you all the displayed activities is the only one were worried about moving over for back to school supplies click update now when we go to the school store and we did the page we can see those agendas are available to purchase under back to school supplies now that are available in this main part of the store here for Harbor High School you can see them by this way when parents come to the store they can see you know they can just go right here in case the judges was for the bottom or something like that they can go right to back to school supplies now I will show you how to do how to create a category as well so we transactions products I said you have to have the product created to create the category add new activity obligation alright so we are going to do what they were to make it had Athletics tab I don't think we have one of those we do not sow make it half latics tab okay so let's say we're going to do soccer uniform purchase Chrysler at the soccer uniform purchase on there please pay for your soccer uniform coaches will be Distributing okay so we can put whatever information we want that short description and then we'll add the sponsor teacher email dates available for sale so we'll select today and again we'll just have them available through when the season might start this a August 31st this a V6 price item price is $30. The fund account Animal Clinic safe so the soccer uniform purchase is now created as a product so we are going to go back up to tree directions again and then OST category and then over counter right says add new category okay so we're going to give the category name so we're going to say Athletics and that's all we have to put it with you like a Fox 29 21 and change the category of Athletics fall spring summer department so many different options category description items for Harbor High Athletics how can I stop all right and then we want to find that soccer uniform store I hear soccer uniform purchase I like that is that over to the right like we did earlier all right now to go back to Harbor High School and me refresh now we see over here Athletics at the bottom we give out a quick and we see that soccer uniform available for purchase so again this is play allows you to keep your door streamline and clean and all of that as a reminder I do want to go back to transaction and then OSP products as a reminder if a product has honey purchased you cannot delay one thing you could do to clean up your store is change the end date on some of these products if you don't have them available for sale anymore so let's say that you know we don't have this charger challenge anymore that we're done selling it we can just click edit and change the date to June 25th so we could just change it to you yesterday quick safe and now this product is no longer going to be available you didn't know when you were going to end something or you ran out of something you can't delete app that you can come in and you can change that date so that way it's no longer in the store so that way I can clean up your store a little bit organize with your store and stuff like that we do have other than ours that would show you how to do things like inventory or drop down menus for things like sizes and stuff so I encourage you to attend one of those for that information I really just wanted to show you. And then let me show you real quick how you can how you can set up a school teacher so up here in the menu quick setup or however I'm sorry Anchorage school teacher and here we could add new sponsor teacher over here on the right is that a quick and we will include the email address the last name and the first name of the new teacher and then click update and then we will add that new sponsor teacher to to the system in order to assign different things so like how I showed you would get update new teachers old teachers whatever this is how you I'm into the system is under set up and then school teacher so that's an important aspect of your school maintenance that you may want to take care of and then just as a reminder up here we have the different reports that you can run you could run the report by sponsor teacher activities look at that teacher may be who you know we are replacing with another teacher you know maybe they moved to a different school or something put the magnet and then we could see whatever products apply to George Clooney make sure that we have it all yo correct in that we've reassign them off the proper people and then you can also just as a reminder refresco get started run those reports by activity date range and you can also go to additional reports and then transaction report transaction by products product select where you can run reports to show you trade. that have occurred within a date range for a product or specifically about these are back here today I should have just the beginning but today we're going over to stop items that you can use School maintenance but are we really encourage you to make sure that you're attending the bookkeeper basic training that what you do have a basic knowledge of the stuff we offer them every week between 11 a.m. and 1 all right.
