How to clear your browser cache

Select your browser

Mozilla Firefox

For Mac users

  1. On the menu bar, click on the tab Firefox.
  1. Select the option Preferences...
  2. Select the Advanced panel and click on the tab Network.
  3. Under Cached Web Content section, click on the button Clear Now.

For Windows users

  1. A. If you are using Windows XP:
    Click on the tab Tools on the top bar of your browser and then select Options.
B. If you are using Windows 7/Vista:
Click on the tab Firefox on the top left corner of your browser and then select Options.
  1. Select the Advanced panel and choose the tab Network.
  2. Under the section Cached Web Content click on the button Clear Now.

Internet Explorer

  1. Click on the tab Tools on the top bar or on the Gear icon on the top right corner.
Select tools menu    or    select IE gear icon
  1. Click on Internet Options.
  2. Under Browsing History click on the button Delete.
  1. In the pop-up window click on the first button on the top Delete files...
If you are using Internet Explorer 8 and up, in the pop-up window, check the box Temporary Internet Files and click on the button Delete.

Google Chrome

For Mac users

  1. Click on the tab Chrome and choose the option Clear Browsing Data...
  1. In the pop-up window, check the box Empty the cache and click on the button Clear Browsing Data.

For PC users

  1. Click on the Customize button at the top right corner of your browser.
  1. Select Tools and then Clear browsing data.
  2. In the pop-up window, check the box Empty the cache and click on the button Clear Browsing Data.

Safari

Safari below version 6

  1. Click on the tab Safari on the top left.
  1. Click on Empty Cache...
  2. In the pop-up window click on the button Empty.

Safari version 6 and up

  1. Click on the tab Development on the top bar.
  1. Choose the option Empty Caches
