all right so I'm going to go ahead and log into Rilo High School; Rio High School is our demo website that I'll be using today and I'm going to be demonstrating some updates that we've made to our pages and pages is the feature that allows you to create inside content so I'm going to go ahead and navigate to pages and show you what we currently have so this is your normal Pages layout and what we've added are some new options for adding images what we've called this is our hero image layout and what this will do is allow you to add larger images to the top of your inside pages that can really make an inside page look special and stand out on all of your pages. I'm logged in right now as a teacher so teachers do have access to this and admins can have access to this is well for your category pages so I'm going to go ahead and show how you can utilize this let me navigate back to my section and I'm going to add a new page all pages do need to have a title and I'm going to add some content here and then now I'm going to select a new layout any of these layouts is going to have a hero image The ones on the bottom are going to have the largest picture option for the hero layout if you select one of these two they will have the section menu panel on either so if I were to select this one it would move my section menu I'll move it back or I can eliminate it entirely I'm going to put it back on the right hand side you'll see now that we have a new addition to the page editor or an option to add a photo this is where you'll upload whatever photo you'd like to have as your hero image so I'm going to go to photos and upload a picture I still have the same options as before for adding pictures from Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive and I'm going to select a picture for my hero image let's go ahead and select this picture now I'm going to go ahead and select the gear icon to show some options for the hero setting even further So right now it's selected to default which I will show. If I select full you'll see that the hero image then takes up the full width of my page both inside the page editor and and you'll see in a moment it'll take up the full page of my inside page I'm going to publish it and then let's see what that looks like. I'm going to open up my page and here is my hero image the rest of my content would populate down here if this is a rather large image which is why it's taking up so much of the space then that will correlate to the size of whatever image you upload should I choose the other option I'll go ahead and go to, I'll click on the image bring up the gear icon again and select constrained save and then publish and then I'll go ahead and view what that looks like here It does not take up the full width this time just the constrained size of the page so that is the first step on the new hero Pages layout and it's a really great way of adding images that change the appearance on your website So, if you have any issues with trying this out so if you sometimes see any issues with your specific website's design because of previous design elements that were created you can always reach out to us at the tech support team or the client success team let me go ahead and demonstrate how you can get in touch with us teachers have access to this as well as administrators you're logged into your edlio website you can navigate up to Help, and then Contact Edlio Support we have our guide to The Help Center here and then you can see here a phone number to call or new case and you can make a new case and they will take a look at whatever is conflicting with the hero images or the design elements of your current website and they can make corrections to it to adjust that with the newest update
