Hello everyone, thank you so much for joining us today for our Google integration webinar. We will be covering a walkthrough on how to use Google integration and you're Edlio website. We also have a technical support representative in the chat today who can answer any questions that you may have. The webinar is being recorded and will be accessible to everyone in The Help Center. So let's go ahead and get started. So just as a reminder that when you login you will be able to see your dashboard here and of course what you are seeing listed here depends on what access you have been given you can all click on the hamburger menu and access the features within the same way You also as a reminder under the help drop down have the Help Center to click into which is available for everyone. This is how you register for the webinars, watch the webinars that you were maybe not able to attend, or you want to go back and review, and you can even click on Help Articles to get a full breakdown of all of our features. Going back to the admin site we also have the Contact Edlio Support so if we click on this here the Contact Edlio Support is available where maybe you were having issues with the website you've already tried going through the Help Center but you need additional assistance. If you click on Contact Edlio Support and we scroll down your hours will be preset to your time zone with the phone number to call or you can always click on New Case to submit a new case that will go directly to support. The first area that I would like to cover here is I am going to go into plan and calendars so in your calendar area you the option to integrate with Google so let's say you already create all of your school calendars in Google and you want to add those to your Edlio website so you are not coming in and manually creating all of the events all you will need to do is click on settings and just as a reminder this will only work for the admins if you are trying to do this on teacher pages, they can only manually at the event When we click on settings it's going to bring us right here into our calendars and all you will need to do is click on the calendar that you would like to integrate Google with Once that loads all you need to do here is on the bottom where it calendar integration you would just click connect on Google and what it's going to do is it's going to prompt you to login, select from your current calendars, the senior calendar for example, and then what it will do is it will start pulling over all of those events to your Edlio calendar and you'll see the option to stop the sync if you need to maybe re-sync if it's not pulling you will able to do that and then the great part is if we go back into calendars if you are also using 365 or if you're manually adding events you will see here in parenthesis where those events are pulling from so for Google it will say Google if you're using 365 it will say 365 if it's manual it will not have anything next to it so that way you know exactly where you need to go if let's say you may be needed to edit the event and the great part is that you can do this to every single calendar that you have so it's not just one calendar to pull over from Google you can go in back into settings and one by one you can go in and connect your Google Calendars so that way you're just managing all of your events in Google and it will pull over to Edlio and just as a reminder that if you are using Google you will not be able to edit the event here in the admin site you'll need to go back to the source which is Google the next area that we have as well is under user management so if you are a Google school and let's say you wanted to use Google Single Sign On for everyone to log into the website and make their updates that will be very helpful because teachers or admin still just use their credentials that they are ready have instead of having another set to remember so we do have Google single sign-on as an option and a great area to go for additional information is if we go back to the Help Center when I click on Help Articles if you scroll all the way down under technical topics we have Google listed and you can come to this page and get an overview of the Google integration with your website and it will give you the information of Google single sign-on you can set up and then you'll be able to sign in and you will need to connect with support to set this up for you website but it is a great way to login if you already have that set up for the school because you will just be able to use your Google credentials and you'll be able to log right in now going back to the website I am going to go back to the dashboard and the next area that I wanted to cover is Google Classroom so if you also using Google Classroom you can pull over any classes or assignments that you have in Google Classroom all you need to do is if you first go site management and setting this will need to be done on the admin side first if you go down and click on classroom what you will need to do here is enable the Google Classroom integration so that way when teachers come in and they just want to pull over their classes they will be able to do so and that way once this is turned on if we go under classes and assignments when we click add a class it will prompt you to login to Google it will list out all of the classes and assignments that you have and you will be able to pull those over and it will display on the teacher's page and that way if a parent or student goes directly to the teacher page if they click on the classroom it will prompt them to log in and they will be able to access their Google classes from one area instead of saving multiple different links so again if you are interested in that option and you are currently not seeing it just make sure that you go into site management and settings and make sure that you go under the classroom tab and switch this to yes and click on save that way if teachers are using classes they don't have to come in and manually recreate all their classes that are already existing in Google they could just pull over the classes and assignments and parents and students will also be able to subscribe so that way they can stay up-to-date with any updates the teacher is making The next area I would like to cover here is if we go under more and stats Under more and stats is where you can get a general overview of how many support cases you've submitted you can see an activity overview you can see who your top 5 active users are you can get a general page view count that we have on our end what is the other great part here is you can integrate Google analytics with your Edlio website so if maybe as a team you all go in yearly or you go in every semester and you really want to know where most of the traffic is going for your website Google analytics will be a great tool to use for this and it is completely free there is no cost associated with it all you will need to do is sign up if you have not done so and then go ahead and integrate it with your website and this will go ahead and walk you through all of the steps as well and what's great is if you need to place that analytics ID you can go under Site Management and settings and under the SEO and marketing tab this is where you can add your Google analytics ID so that way it'll start pulling over all of the stats that you would like and you can go in as a team maybe see what areas are not getting as much traffic as the others and determine that you what changes need to be made but if you do just want a very general page you count we do have that available again under stats and that will just be right here under the see page view counts the last area I wanted to cover for you is I'm just going to go into photos here for example and I'm going to click upload anywhere in the website that you see this upload option for example under gallery or your photos here if you click on upload you'll see that you can pull I'm your Google Drive so what this will do is it'll pull up your Google account your photos and everything that are listed there will show up and you'll be able to select from there instead of saving it on your desktop and then driving it over you will have the option to pull over to Google Drive and you can also see that option if for example we go into pages and I am going to click on one that we have here and let's say I wanted to edit this page I'll go ahead and click and if I click on as for example and upload you always see the same four options and Google Drive will be listed there for you so as a reminder you have Google Calendars that you can use with your Edlio site you can use single sign-on you can also integrate with classes and assignments and of course if you wanted to get a detailed over how much traffic is coming to the site we do have the analytics and of course anywhere that you see the upload button you will be able to pull from your Google Drive and again if additional information is needed if you go in to help articles in the Help Center scroll all the way down until you see technical topics and click on Google you'll be able to see everything listed here as well and as a
