and they is all about supply list so let's talk about supply list the beauty of this feature the feature called supply list is that what it does is create a digitized shoppable set a shockable link for all of the things that your students might need to buy during the school year so when you are when you have your list of that you're at your kids need this is where you can upload them you're uploading their the document that you upload can be any of these types c a c word. it could be an image it can be a pedia the biggest file size you can upload is right here when you upload a list your viewers can see it immediately it takes our team about 48 hours to digitize it so once you have your list this is where you upload them I've got a couple examples here I'm going to show you it looks like when it is live and what your family see when when it is published so when you have all of your list uploaded all of the things that you want your your families by Gray double or even buy Class 2 to need to know that they need to buy you uploaded it here and these are all the way is that you can share it if you have a newsletter you can embedded in a newsletter you can she this out through social media you can use our app alerts I threw edlio School news and just a side note if you did not know this already every other Leo site has access to the free school news ugly so if you're not already using your app alerts get in touch with your CSS and maybe schedule a quick run through of how to use that or you can look in The Help Center but it's a free that you already have you might already be using it but if you're not that's good to know you can share it through broadcast on whether you're on a trial version or you use broadcast regularly you can create a broadcast that is a voice dialer email sender and text that you can choose who to send this to also adds that your sight navigation and add to a news and a John Smith story and you can have your public link right here let's click on the public link so if I were to just click on one of these again this is you an idea of what it looks like for you to be able to tell your families that they can choose what they want to add to their Amazon cards if they want to change the number or change the colors they can do all of those things once they're in their cart so supply list can be purchased through as you can see here Amazon Target or Walmart and these are going to pop with any of your supply list that we do ties as part of part of using this feature I'm going to go back here and if I wanted to add it to site navigation the way that I would do I can add it to the beach it'll pop up just is a feature page you can do that and we can stay the night show you how it becomes live on our site but let's say we wanted to put this right up at the some people say just as they're getting may be right under the you would decide where you'd want this to go I'm just kind of showing you a secondary skill of dragging and dropping your your site navigation I want to put those right up is it that we want I'm not there right at the very top under about can we stay the night see what it looks like refresh it and see I have just put supply list right here so I've got all of this a wireless in the world right here that I have put under my side navigation another way to do this would be to go through pages if you wanted to create a page let's go to put one in the middle meaning of category is another way for you to see it in advance and you section let's say I want to add this section so here we are we're going to create a new page a blank page supply list now when you're creating a page for your supply list you can add the supply list block feature and when you click this you could choose which of these supply list that you want to include so if you have like a certain grade level page then you might choose maybe just your first through so you choose just those and then what so okay and then we want to save draft and then you see your choices here you can preview your drive this is a super helpful thing to say because you can preview it through your desktop with your recycle site for your desktop and tablet using your site or a phone recite it again families can go to these I clicked on that so here is an example of seeing how the family could buy school supplies from wave in case you don't know what this is It's a web accessibility accessibility evaluation tool so if you have if you're familiar with ADA compliance Americans with is a compliance this is a tool to help you always make sure that your site is so again that's how you would create and if I wanted to add this to you but they're created my set my page with all of my supply list. I can also add my supply list to start navigation directly from that page so just another way to do it you stay here too as I'm scooting this up here that you can put under activities parents is right here so this is how I added as a page you could also add it as a URL copying to that link you saw how does a feature page a few minutes ago that's how you would do that and remember supply list and you know what let's make sure that we put this for 2122 just a reminder how you can edit that in that field we're going to be looking under parents or going to save it go back to the homepage we're going to refresh there's our supply list except that it was not so oh it's because I didn't publish my page so when you're creating a page you want to make sure that you publish that so that this is why that is why the best not visible okay so make sure you publish your pages as I mentioned it just a few minutes ago you are telling me your family's about accessing supply list and you can publish all lift as I mentioned here I don't know okay so they are published and that's how you would check to make sure that they have been and then it's back we're back where we started with where you can share all of your all of your list through all of your channels now before we wrap up I want to make sure to show you a really helpful resource for your teachers and Families starting supply list in the news article for Supply let you see here how there are guys teachers and families this is super helpful if you want to print this PDF for your your front office or if you want to attach it to a newsletter itself these are the things that we we've actually done most of these just in this quick demonstration getting to supply list that's in your admin. Creating one is as simple as uploading the West whatever kind of document you have that PDF word however you have it that is creating one to upload it we've added supply list to a page you can edit them when they are uploaded we can publish or unpublish them once they've been published and we talked about sharing the supply list and again you could share them on a district websites to all of these you're a little bit more granular elements of supply list through available here I want to just a quick glance so as you have had your teachers upload their supply list you can provide them with this PDF or with families to help them understand how they can use this this is a step by step way of accessing supply list okay and now we're back to our admin okay Raul are there any questions in the chat that I made hope have missed or something that both might still be wondering about about supply list all right well I appreciate each of you taking the time today to learn a little bit more about supply list it's a feature that were very proud of it is something that can make getting supplies two kids easier for your families and for your staff to to stay in communication about that and Amber families to be able to to work with campuses closely and know that kids have what they need is quickly they can throughout the entire school year I know that we've already started in lots of places but there could be plenty of reasons why you might need a supply list as the year continues all right as well as I mentioned before my name is Storm I'm soup happy to have gotten to demonstrate this for you it will be uploaded as a recording and as always if you have any questions email your client success specialist that you don't know who that is email client success at Leo.
