What can your CSS do for you? So let's break down this title, Client Success Specialist, so client let's break this down. We exist for you-- parent volunteers, tech directors, marketing directors administrative assistants-- lots of different roles that are performing as web admins. So, y'all are clients-- coaches, athletic directors, teachers, principals, you name it! Superintendents, everyone approach the web admin position in a different way. The word success. Our goal is to make you successful in meeting your goals. So that means we want you to do well. Success in your business means that you have happy parents who can find things that they're looking for-- happy board members, your community is excited about being a part of your school, so that team spirit that you can see that on your website. Um yes, great question in the chat about confirming who you're assigned Client Success Specialist is. So if you do not know who your Client Success Specialist is please reach out to that email address and we will make sure that that person gets in touch with you right away so very good question so the word specialist as we kind of wrap up what the CSS role means we are specialists we have been trained we know our product inside and out and that's just so that we can conserve you the best way possible we try to see it through the eyes of the parent, the student, the prospect, the teacher, and through your eyes on the web and seeing as we're giving instructions and assistance. So now we're going to break down what we do so that you can walk away with different possibilities in mind after this webinar has been completed so as I mentioned before we don't just answer questions we help you to see the bigger picture so you ask us a question, we try try to see the bigger picture and fill in the gaps. We also try we are your bridge to other departments at Edlio so maybe your social media feed, you want to request a new design element, we are the bridge to that department. I'm going to go fast through these and then I'll break each one of them down more specifically. The next part here, we are your trainers we show you how the tools and features work encouraging you when you've hit a wall or feel stuck because we all have when it comes to technology. We point you quickly in the right direction so you can meet your deadline and get that information out fast. Next, we coach your teams your schedules are full, so please let us do the heavy lifting for you. Introduce us to someone and let us intervene, a new staff member, we can help you schedule an e-learn training webinar. You want to train a group of teachers to integrate their Google classrooms, let us do the heavy lifting let us assist you with that. Finally here, we are you second set of eyes on your communication services, so schedule a call, drop us an email with the link, we're skilled at being able to see your content through these multiple different angles that I mentioned a moment ago and we try to think best practices and trends whenever we give you our two cents on what what your next steps could be. So let's start with this bigger picture concept here. We don't just answer the question, we help you to see the bigger picture and fill in the gaps. So, sometimes that bigger picture might be to look at other websites and see how they're doing things that offer you some assistance that way we offer wisdom and encouragement not just information we try to to encourage you in that role as well. So another concept here we help you see the bigger picture because there might be a feature on your CMS that you're not using that might be perfect for you in this gap that's that's happening in this difficulty that you're having with a certain feature or for example maybe you're paying an annual fee for an email newsletter and there's already a great one on the CMS that allows you to automatically select news and events and auto-populate them into a newsletter so we also have a great platform called Online School Payments where you can collect fees for things like school swag, AP dues and sports ticketing or your graduation so maybe having a chat with us can help us show you that bigger picture of what's available to you. Another thing maybe you know it was it might have been a crazy time of the year whenever you launched your website maybe you feel like it just went too quickly because of time of the year that it was in your CSS can give you a refreshers or suggestions based on a webinar recordings that would get you a little bit a deeper dive into that concept we can also send you some samples of ways other schools are doing something for example enrollment sections or employment to be able to add that to your website as well. The next thing we do here. We are the bridge to other departments so anytime you come to us you ask a question you have a need you say you know I received an email from someone and you don't say help but you might you might be feeling like I'm just not sure what to do next with this situation. What we can do as your CSSs, we have an answer, obviously but as I mentioned before whenever we answer your emails we try to not just answer the question, we have a look at your website we look at your account we try to think about the bigger picture so that we can give you wisdom not just information about what's going on. Whenever you have a need, we can ask, I can ask my wonderful colleagues and I can fast-track a solution. We have a lot of good resources for people that specialize in something I can reach out to them and get you a solution fast, finally you get an email from someone at Edlio I know exactly what that next step might be and we can get it done fast so that you're not left hanging and having to follow up again The next part here you learn how for example, we we like to train you and give you tools. Your CMStraining does provide you with tools but don't fret. Your CSS could do the same thing maybe you learned how to create something during your training but now it's just you and your computer in that room and you're on a time constraint somebody is relying on you to get that form done. Hop on a zoom call with us, drop us an email, give us a call, we can give the answers to those questions. We can help you to feel like the expert at that form before you have to give it back to a colleague. Maybe you're even wondering about some of your features. Why would I even need this? Let your CSS tell you about for example form templates, maybe you're thinking oh gosh we don't even need forms, we've got a really good paper system, let us show you how for example some people some schools and districts are allowing teacher requests to come in for things like requesting technology, payments for meal orders, a lot of districts can have a form submitted for someone to schedule to sign up for a certain meal or series of meals throughout the month, so think about how how we can kind of give you a deep dive into that picture so again, as a new administrative assistant at your school there might be somebody that's taking over at your school and you're asking them hey you know we'd like you to be responsible for the news and the events and if that's you please just understand that we want to set you up with the best training possible. Your CSS would be the one to schedule that or hop on the call with them and make sure that they have they have the login and they know exactly how to do this the best way possible. A Yearbook Teacher maybe has really great photos and so asl that person to be responsible for the shuffle you know setting up photos and I have a couple here that I wanted to show you that I loved bragging about-- Mercedes ISD. They have what we like to call it, an interactive huffle and what's interactive about it? Each of the photos in the shuffle is interactive so that means you can click on it and and interact with it so you can go somewhere so for example they have here with click another. Here I think I remember one being free have a click here click here to view the calendar so you're on this page here you can click and it takes you directly to the calendar so you know your CSS can help you to create that interactive huffle another really really great when there's this Lynwood Unified School District and I really love what they're doing here with their graphics. It is a great place to get attention across about a certain for example here celebrating black history it really blends with their site nicely and you get a chance to interact with it you can click to visit the vaccination clinic to sign up for something digitally so that's another thing that your CSS can do to assist you with that as well so sign up for a time slot for your yearbook teacher to meet with your CSS. Schedule an e-learn training session for them so that they don't feel stuck anymore also Mater Dei High School. We've got another great school here where excuse me, I'm sorry, I just clicked out of that so when it comes to Mater Dei, maybe you're interested in doing the drone video for the shuffle. Talk to your CSS because we can give you options for that drone footage and make sure that you see some other websites and how they're doing something beautiful I like this a lot of beautiful things that people are doing out there okay so let's move on here so you have all the tools then the next thing that we do here we strengthen your teams, kind of similar to the previous one. We can help you with user management. We can help you manage a person's privileges but definitely as you know delegation is key, not always as easy to do that because multiple many people are wearing lots of hats these days in schools so we definitely want to step alongside you and assist you with that as well. Pick your team and let us help them get ready. Maybe you're the new web admin at your school, we can help you to organize a training is geared specifically toward your needs. So maybe you feel the weight of the world on your shoulders in your position-- The Help Center is another great resource that we want to look at together here and there's lots of different features on The Help Center depending on what kind of your learning style the one that I always like to point out first is this help articles tab right here. You can see this and follow along with me if you are the type of person this is this is definitely how I got started learning the CMS. I like to browse all of the features. So this is one great way if you're brand-new if you're training someone that's new to hop on and see all that's available. You can go through user type as well and technical topics that are specific for tech directors another really great feature here is when you click on this button right here click to watch and you can search for videos If you're looking for, for example, Pages you can search you can just browse and these are all recent you know the most recent ones from January 2020 to the bees are not going to be outdated these are going the most recent features from November December based on what you're interested in learning about Let's hop back over here. I'm sorry, I wanted to mention one more little thing here. So as you guys know you can always catch her next event here on the help center, you can troubleshoot and we have a a really great idea here at the most common difficulties that people have and you can find those there as well so let's hop back on here again Give me just one moment as it's loading. I apologize for the delay There we go, okay, so again you know long story short help.edlio.com you can search for things that you're looking for. You can find webinars and suggest them to someone on your team that might benefit from those. So let's say the next idea here let's say you have a new spot on your website that needs updating so you haven't trained yet and you you don't know what to call it or search for maybe you've been in that boat before reach out to your client success specialist email us at clientsuccess@edlio.com we can help you update that spot. We can tell you how you can do it or I can do it myself quickly if you're on a time constraint. We can help you submit a case to tech support if it's something that needs to be hard coded So finally this concept of your CSS being a second set of eyes for you. Nobody likes to work alone. I mean I guess sometimes we do like working alone but when you hit that wall when you're over thinking something other times that might be difficult to need a second set of eyes as when you might be going back and forth with your team. You have different opinions and maybe something that you made just doesn't look right and maybe your enrollment spot isn't getting enough traffic. These are all perfectly good topics to bring up to your CSS and to schedule a zoom call to look at it together. So we we are skilled at being able to give an unbiased opinion based on best practices and based on the websites that we see every day that are doing things really really great so as we're closing here I want to talk about this last feature here, maybe you're ready for a new look a redesign this this is one of the most exciting parts of my job is seeing the before and after of schools, so I wanted to show you a couple of these to just get excited about a redesign right now we have a great campaign going on so please talk to CSS about that. So we have here the first one I'm going to bring over here is Saint Edmund Preparatory High School and I'm just going to pull it up- the large view. Beautiful, beautiful website a lot of great movement here as you scroll down. You can look at this on your end and stedmundprep.org let me pop this into the chat for you and you know I want to show you the before and this is the after obviously we've got their news and announcements a parallax image behind their events any of these features when you see these on other websites and you think you know gosh I would love to have that on our website reach out to your Client Success Specialist we can talk about the options the possibilities we can show you the ways that other schools do something similar to give you options so that you you can see exactly what is out there. So I'm going to pull over an image of their before site Give me one second I just lost my window I apologize okay here we go so this is the their website their current website and I will pull over the their previous thank you for your patience okay so you can see what it looked like before so similar colors and branding but definitely spiced up. So this is something that we love doing for our clients and we love seeing the end result of how everything moves.
