hello everyone thank you so much for joining us today I'm so happy to go over some of the ways that parents and remembers with our content management system to keep a Channel of communication engagement going as always we have a technical support representative will be answering any questions that you may have so feel free to answer your questions ask your questions in the chat box this webinar will be recorded and uploaded to our help center I'm going to go ahead and log in and first I want to go over our email sender the email sender is available to both web admin and teachers and it allows you to send mass emails to your parents community members you can add calendar events near his photos and text and there are rollouts that you can choose from and before I begin to show this feature I do want to know we have help center article about best practices and some tips and tricks for sending emails so make sure you check out that article which is available in our help center and there's also a link inside the email sender the email email sender feature itself so to access the email sender let's go into an ounce and let you know Sundar and you can read about the best practices by clicking on the link up here and by the way you can click directly on the announced module from your dashboard or hamburger menu and if you have already sent out a bunch of email you able to see a brief overview the emails that have been sent if you're a web admin you can still tear this out by emails sent from your organization just yourself for everyone you can also search for an email and from the three dots on your right you can view the recipients you can make a copy of the email and also View your son de reports report will show the number of recipients who it was sent to the open right click links it's any and we also have this bar graph that displays how many email delivered how many emails were open clicked or not delivered at all you can also click on the review email to see what was sent and under actions you can download a CSV file the email messages you can also check the information that appears on your outgoing email keep in mind that as a web admin you can send emails from your email address or from your organization let's go ahead and start right our email you have the following layout options to choose from I'm going to use the layout that allows me to and once you've selected a Leo you can start adding content you can so like a suction and simply click on that section that you want to add content to and you get like a editing toolbar where you can format the text and basically modify the look of your content you can add light header text you can add hyperlinks we can like change the alignment where is clear formatting and if you like working with source code you have that option here as well know when you add events you choose the calendar were you like to pull these event from you can cherry pick the events that you'd like to display on your email and you can choose as many as you'd like events are displayed in chronological order now I'm going to add news and just like we do with the events we choose the category of where we'd like to pull those new stories from and you can choose as many as you'd like and with these you can order them in any way you'd like but dragging and dropping 6 dots on your left after you've finished your email and you can save your email as a draft come back to it later or you can view the email you see a preview of the browser version as well as the mobile Persian now if you're ready to send email to your parents and community members we can go ahead and continue if you have a contact list that is existing contacts you can also upload a CSV file and you also have the option to enter the email address manually let's type in our subject to delivery options you can go ahead and have the email be sent now or you can designate a specific date and time that you like for the emails to go out next we select a category recipients have the option to unsubscribe from specific categories except for the emergency category so let's go ahead and send this email now as you can see it has been sent the next thing I want to cover is our social media manager end you can post to Facebook and Twitter directly from the admin site I'm going to use a different admin site for the purpose of showing your house works so let's go into an ounce social media manager and once you've connected your your account you can start posting your messages you can add photos videos and a message just like the email sender you can choose to post the message now or select specific date and time for it to push out I also want to know that when you post your news and announcements so under an ounce under your news and alerts you do have the option to push a new story through both the social media manager and the email sender you can do that specific clicking to announce you have the following options to push through you can select social media manager or you can add it on the email sender and now I also have some really exciting news about our latest family engagement solution we have a new and improved
