thank you for getting me today we're going to be talking in today's webinar about contact list and email sender just give me a second yes I see you search oh hold on a second okay sorry about that so in this case is quite a few that we need to cover today when it comes to email sender you will definitely need contact list that's why we're starting with this topic first and we'll go through a brief key points then I will be toggling with our admin site so in this case when it comes to contact list you can use it and that's why it's very important and I want to emphasize the idea that if you need to take the time to set up your contact list if you do not set up right when you have a new phone there is no way that you can get around it or you would do the setup or you won't be able to use her phone properly so it's kind of the same thing when it comes to email sender and contact list once you do and take the time to do it then it's going to be very very easy and fast for you to use your contact list with not only email email Center but also for example if you're doing and news and announce and you know that you can push mass communitcation then is where you can also your as your the world when it comes to contact list you can have three types of them the personal wants which means that in this case for example your teachers even yourself of your web administrator you can have and you know that there is a subscription button there that information is going to be stored in that class and of course there are one or more to teachers responsible each one of them are going to receive their own information you may be using Custom because you can create it for any given purposes if you're going to be creating them per grade maybe for your staff only one for staff but if you want to have one for teachers and they want for your staff members the admin staff if you're going to create a specific event ticketing from what not any kind of list that you have in mind you can use it through customs time and basically go on to one of the time all the time and you understand what I mean by that so when it comes to adding you can do it before and also you can take advantage of doing bulk uploading in this case if you're going for the second option you will the csv template which we stand for, separated values favorite and I'm going to show you in this case I use an open I want to show you what it looks on the admin site so now I'm on our test site as a college prep and when you want to access a contact list you know that on the dashboard is part of the quick access is and you it's on the right or also if you go to the up left on the hamburger menu and then go to announce the bottom you will see contact list either or you will get to the same point which is the main view of contact list from here what I want you to be our if you think you can the left and let me just try to do this for you if I can do so let them obviously you're not going to see any previous a however if I start clicking you will see because I'm right now I'm a web administrator you will see that who has created other personal pages and toothpaste I'm a web admin I'm able to see it if I logged in as a regular user I would only be seeing my information and in this case when it comes to classes I don't believe that we have any if we did the example I was given before that math class if I had any subscribers and that I would be able to see the contact information here custom remember that I mentioned that is this is going to be common one and you can see that many here are often you will see that's why the type of list is here how many contacts you have her list created it you see that this is my user I created this with my own user versus the administrator for example and if you click on the three dots you're going to be able to edit that list because you're doing a ticket Gathering and you want that information for all the purpose of download it and you can use it in any other spreadsheet that you can or you can delete it now very important if you delete it you can't undo it so be sure and you will the warning let me show you this one that is let me go back if I click you will have a warning and you will see you can't undo this if you're sure confirm and click delete and you're good to go when you go back to contact list you won't see at there anymore it's fine if there be careful with that but okay now showing you how you can if you click a new list it's going to be exactly the same thing as out if I just like I'm here because I want to use this example because you can see with your but I want to show you things one is if you click the new list how it would look but also how you can keep adding contacts to your previous list to so I'm going to click on a list if it was a new list by clicking on the pencil you were going to be able to put a title or in this case add it if you want it now in in this case and then I raining read in this new list don't do that because you will end up with a new list version 1 new list version 2 you know so just be mindful of the naming conventions that you used now this is previous information that I have the right if it was blank obviously you wouldn't remember that the intention is to show you how to keep information let's say for example from here I want to add bulk if you were creating it from scratch it would you would see the same you you would click on download to get the CSV you would see that it's on my bottom left and with a double click on it and from here let me show you drag-and-drop for my other monitor so you can see what it looks like to be sure where and you would see like second and you will see that I have already a csv that it has done somewhere that I can't open it. any title that you're interested in it depending on those software that you using in my case is at the bottom if I click on the drop-down menu you will see the different formats that I have to csv once you do that click save and it's already there I want to replace it yes let's replace it and we're good to go this csv once you have it remove it from there now that I already have it I'm going to take another look from here remember where you put your information like on it and open it in this case you can see that because I've already created some additional information it will prompt you you're going to be adding 5 contacts from in the name of list previously created if there are duplicated they're not going to they're going to be automatically removed not sure and you by mistake this is not the trash and you can delete it well now well it's processing you will see that is already here and now you can see how many still holds Donald Durant I have so that's why it's important that you want to edit the first Contact you can always have this option let's say that instead of 7/8 and was going to say as easy as that your contact is already also you can add single contest like on the blue bottom that we have at the top and you can start answering your own information and then click save you create contact list now that you have them this is where you can easily store all your information now by going back and now we're going to start talking about the email sender in this case I can send emails exactly any user that has or is marked as to school staff remember on edit profile of each user here's where you would did the school staff member they will be able to send an email an email sender like this one not only see all the emails that have been sent through email sender I also sent their own email addresses and also use the school's organization email we are email compliant but this is a routine work in this case that's why we need your help because on our end we have physical mailing addresses so people know that it's not our using your email School address so they know that it's for real they have an unsubscribe link and we automatically unsubscribe them if they want to is important to use a huge a proper from name email address and your subject lines keep it in a way that it's catchy to the eye but also you're not using words like free only for this time so those kind of phraces that are going to maybe they think that they're that it's right so careful with that when it comes to know the community it mean basically that you know you're right you know your parents you know your teachers do you know what type of information is important for them it's relevant and they are interested in so that's why it's important to know and don't spend them that's what I'm saying at the end of the day if you know what information they are needing than them in a timely and consistency manner that goes with Point number for as well because you can tell you have an open communication with your parents for example when is the best day for them to receive emails with it once a week twice a week put a time set for that so they know that every Sunday in I know they're going to receive an email from you with new information that's coming up that's what I mean by that always number 5 keep it short focus what is your email going to be talking about if
