hello everyone thank you so much for joining us today for our supply list webinar today we will be covering a walkthrough on how to use our supply list feature we also have a technical support representative in the chat today we can answer any questions that you may have the webinar is being recorded and will be accessible to everyone in the help center so let's go ahead and get started I'm going to come here into our admin site and just as a reminder that whatever you are seeing in the dashboard and of course in the hamburger menu will be set to the right that you have been given and as another reminder that under the help drop down you always have access to the help center and of course contacting edlio support team and all you will need to do is click on either let's say you needed to submit a case we would click on contact at edlio support and as we scroll down you'll see that your hours are preset to your time zone with the number that you can reach our support team and of course you can always submit a new case I'm going to click back into the dashboard and let's go into our supply list feature if I click on the hamburger menu you'll see that supply list will be listed here on its own now I'm going to click on supply list and this is a way where it makes purchasing all of the supplies for class easier and faster so with this allows you to do is you can upload your supply list let's say the class needs to buy pencils erasers notebooks folders you can upload that list and what we do on our end is we digitize it and prep the shopping options for them and the way that this work is if you click into supply lists you can see that we already have some published if you wanted to add additional additional list we would click on upload and you'll see that your max file size will be listed and you will see the accepted file types so maybe you already have your list as a PDF or you have it as a doc ready to go you would upload your files and what happens is once to upload it here then it'll take us about 48 hours to digitize the list so that way parents or students can come in and of course make the purchase and whenever you upload a list you can click directly on share list you can copy the link to maybe send out an email or share some where you can add directly to your site navigation you can even create a News Post so maybe we create one saying supply list and you could attach all of the list that you have that you would like parents have access to and of course we have additional options we're sharing through broadcast your app alerts emailing this out and of course using social media manager you can always come in and click on the three dots you can select items which will show you exactly what is here in this list if we click back and click on the three dots again you'll see again the option to share the list you can go to the public view and you'll see that it lists out all of your supplies and it will give you your options here of where to purchase from and if let's say you don't need to use the list anymore you can always come in and on unpublish well the other area where you can also use your supply list is within pages so if we go to page management and pages and I'm just going to click into a section here let's call this supply list well you would walk through the same process of creating the page so all you will need to do is click new page will select blank page I will go ahead and title this supply list 2021 now in order to add your list to a page all you need to do click on ADD and you will see supply list listed here so once you click on this you'll see that any of the list that has been uploaded under the supply list out here for you you can select whichever ones you would like to show on this page if it's just one you can definitely go ahead and do that as well or you can even directly upload a new list if you want so if we were to take  it is now available. And If I click on save draft I can go under our actions menu preview of what the page will look like so I will click on preview and I'll see that it's just going to list out every single supply list and you can of course click on it to access the I-10 again just as a reminder the list will be available but in order for us to digitize it it will take about 48 hours and then parents will be able to come in and of course make their purchases next option you have as well for sharing is where we had seen for site navigation so if we click on the hamburger menu and go to site management and navigation whether you wanted to share an individual list or let's say you wanted to share the entire group so parents have an area to go to access all of these supply list if we scroll down what state we're going to add it here under academics we would click on new item you could title this supply lists and if we created in Pages we wanted to link it from there we could have course go ahead and select the page if you have the link to the supply list you can add it here or if you want it are the entire group of list that you had created added to your site navigation if we click on feature page we can click select a feature and once this loads new refreshed here there we go so if we scroll down you're going to see supply list and if we click on Save of show you what this looks like we'll go to the website refresh the site a few times and if we go under academics will see supply list if I click on it all of the list that you have currently published will display so you can go in click on the list and of course make your purchase so now I also wanted to show you in our help center we have a great area of how teachers can use supply list how it benefit parents reasons maybe why you might not be seeing supply list listed in your admin site and in order to access that we will need to go under help articles here if you scroll down you'll see supply list Angel stay here that we have guides specifically for teachers and even for family so if we click on it it will be a file that teachers can use to create their supply list you can also click on the link to download as well and if we go back we also have a little guide for families as well and it'll be the same thing you can either access directly from here or you can download this share as well and you'll see that you can get an overview it will show you how to navigate to supply list just like we did creating your list again all you need do is as long as it is one of the file types that we accept if you upload it will take care of digitizing digitizing the list and of course preparing the shopping of course if you need a recap on adding supply list to a page grouping just like we did by adding the entire feature how to publish or unpublish if you want to access the PDF directly as well we also have an area that shows you why you're not seeing supply list and it could be a few reasons one of them being that the feature disabled in settings so a website administrator can choose to enable or disable the feature so that would be going into site management and settings send going to supply list and making sure that it is enabled if it is not it may be one of the reasons as to why you are not seeing supply list the reasons could be that the website is for a district that has no separate School sites so this may be another reason because it does me to tie into a n c e s i d your organization could be located outside of the US currently this is only for us or it might just be that your NCES ID is missing and if it is you can always contact support so we can add. are you and that way you can start using supply list and you can always reach out to your CSS or technical support team so just as a reminder to access supply list you can click directly into the feature in The Help Center if you would like additional information you can click on help articles and of course scroll down and click into supply list so as a reminder if you have any questions please feel free to reach out to your client success specialist at edlio not sure who your client success specialist is please email clientsuccess@edlio.com we will be here for just a few more minutes if anyone has any questions and I wanted to thank everyone for joining us and we hope you have a wonderful day
