From posting a new album of photos from Field Day 2022 to uploading a virtual video walkthrough of your campus to posting your weekly Principal Podcast, we’ll show you all the ways you can manage your media directly though your Edlio admin site and reach your School Community through various mediums.

all right everybody thank you so much for joining us today for this quick my adliya webinar world today we are going to be talking about this little module right over here media we are going to recover photos videos and audio and Shuffle how to use them on your edlio site from posting a new album of photos from field a 2022 the uploading a virtual video walkthrough of your campus to posting your weekly principal podcast show you all the ways you can manage your idiot directly through you're at the apartment site and reach your school Community through these various medium I thought jump in okay so I clicked on photos here first we'll take a look he can manage different photo albums here you're at Leo site I want them to know I am logged in right now as they know Benson up here I am an admin on this site all right so I have access to the school photos and my personal photos hear my personal photos will show up when something clicks my name on the staff directory and they go to my pages I add my photos that that's where they can look at my personal photos there if I want to add them to my teacher pages there that's where I people can go and see them but I'm really focusing on school photos today now the first thing you'll see here with all the different albums here but the one thing I do want to know here is that we do have our main photo album so if I click over here on upload upload a random photo here filled a stupid idea what that looks like we are one photo here see all done make sure we add that all text all text brief description of what we're seeing in the photo here I mean kids playing on field day will take kids drawing with Chaka Khan sidewalk all right great okay so we go back here so this one is added to our main photo album here all right do it this is essentially your default album any you know just random photos of United they're not really you know you don't want to create a separate take me to school right in your man album here and create an Alan because I want to add photos from our Field Day this year so we're going to create album give it a name all right go back in here but all our photos from Field Day 2022 all right. We have all of these uploaded here and I didn't cover this 4bc hear all of our accepted file types when uploading a photo you know most of you are taking these pictures on at their their cell phone number using a DSLR digital cameras me like that but you should not have any problem as are your but your phone can whatever is using these file formats your for your photo so you should be all good there I make sure we go in and out at all text for these all going to speed this part up real quick see not the watch me fill all of this out all records we have all of those addicts who come down here we can see a few different options you can add captions if you like stew the Calm before the storm of field day can I sell captions here I'll let you know when you upload the photos they're not exactly how you want to do a rotational you want them to be you can go ahead and read rotate them here all right and then I'll show you can revert them here you can go ahead and delete them and you see what the thumbnails look like here are pretty self-explanatory there but we have our field a 2022 album back over here real quick now I remember your albums at that is one of our feature pages right so we want to add that to our site now here we can go over here to site management site navigation horn the new item feature page select a feature come down here select photo album and there you go you can add your photo albums there and then again if you need to go in I'll show you in a second here I can go in and just grab the URL of a specific album that you want or do you want to add the entire photo album feature I'm to your site navigation that is how you go ahead and do that all right now we're going to go over to our general of photo album page here for when we have these other activities one click photo album and here we have all of the different albums ready to go and I showed you before how if we add a photo here two Army nalba right to the general album they're going to show up here on the general owls Landing paid we go here we can see all of the different out a photo album that we currently have on the come over here to our Field Day 2022 and there we have all of those if you want to go ahead and grab the link from the top here and you know add that going to add to your site navigation if you want to go and add it to a specific section with Harvey one I'll go ahead and showcase these in here great presentation near Paris and go in and just click through this photo album pretty cool I will come back here to our me yeah well YouTube media now I want to focus on videos in audio now there are two days I'm going to look at here I'm going to upload a video and we're going to upload some audio now the first thing I want to do is go ahead and add a video walk-through tour of our school it's a great way to boost enrollment in your show off our beautiful campus here there's two ways we can do this we can add it to our homepage at this will depend on what your homepage looks like but if you or if you even have a video on it so right now on Elliott College Prep will go back to the homepage all right so this right here we can see here we have this this bar down here this is a video right here alright so we can a DVD here and this is where we can add our video walkthrough now on so we can add it here so it's the first thing people see when they come to our home page if you don't have a video here if you have photoshop on you want a video on set a reach out your client success specialist they'll go ahead and walk you through how you can accomplish that and let's go back over here to videos audio I'm going to add new video audio upload Cher alright so give us School tour video here so I can upload that and I'm just going to name it aren't we have are all texts with a video as Wellness a couple things to know as we go through an hour once you upload your video closed captioning is automatically going to be at it so if there's any audio to anything spoken closed captioning is automatic going to be added to it to Rai it's pretty cool are we always recommend going through and checking to see that you know it is accurate you know cuz it's it's it's not it's always going to be perfect no so just go through and it will show you how we can edit and captions here in a second I got to confirm the Angry Birds at we only right now have English and Spanish come down here before the transcript is also going to go ahead and just write out an entire transcript of all of the spoken dialogue in that video automatically list file in now if you put on here this is where you can choose where the video is stored to automatically it's going to be added to your future videos if you want to added to your homepage here like this it needs to be featured alright needs to stay here Sweeney keep that one check we also just go ahead and keep this one check as well recent / popular videos I don't click add more here let's say I wanted to go ahead and add it will come over here to the other college prep a homepage what they wanted out of here to our fine arts program I'll come over here see we have our section menu on the side I wanted to add it here come over here and find there we go with a fine arts section right here like this listen selected sections will go ahead and Save I swear to have recp virtual tour here I refresh this now we have our videos you can watch that there but the more important thing is we'll come back over here for a second this video is now feature we have that star next to it now if I come back here to the homepage we have our easy Pete for chuil tour need to go right here I go ahead and on click of that all right will come down we'll see what the next so this fall Sports sign of it who is the next featured video so if I refresh this and you'll see now we have our fall Sports video of back here again so again if you have a homepage video the most recent video that is uploaded and featured is going to be displayed here as door top video okay so now we went ahead and we did that I told you how we can go ahead and upload that video so it is added to your homepage and how you can go ahead and add it to a specific section menu one of the things that we're seeing a right now our daily weekly monthly podcast it's a great way and taking questions you know maybe interview a student-teacher faculty member we're seeing a lot of a principal podcast lately now let's go ahead and see how we can do that I'll go over here to new video or audio go ahead and upload our podcast is ready to go was called the principal podcast principal cast all right I'll are title I want better description add all text okay again is automatically going to generate those closed captioning for us and the transcript as well I want to list this when we a principal cast of the section here so I want to go ahead and add that believe we have that under miscellaneous there we go to ECP principal cast that and we will save okay awesome so we have our short up Podcast here you'll see right here CC missing gives them time that is going to generate here I'm coming here for a second alright so actually we come back we now see that video was all that since we had that video was Secure as featured on the move that save that we are so right now we have our transcript here this went through generated this transcript from the audio from this podcast all right now we can go in here the caption one word of advice whenever you going to do that I do recommend checking off as override transcript every time captions chain that you're going through through here and editing your Captain's is automatic going to update down here with your transcript as well look at a captions and you go through and you can just play the podcast here or we know video whatever it is you're uploading whatever your editing the captions for you can go through here and edit them as you're going through so let's say go ahead and that at those save that's all right and you just kind of go through play it and make any adjustments as you go through you'll see here is going to be in real time as you're able to go ahead and edit those captions pretty cool all right we'll come over back over here edit video and audio when does it come down here or I will see that change that I made there to please listen up everybody will see since we had that click their other override transcript every time captions change that is updated there again we have is added to our ecpp principal cast page I'll see what that looks like here Google find the page play what it looks like on the livesight here so quick that public link all right right now this is the automatic page for the principal cast we over here am I safe videos here I'm it's essentially the same thing with his videos or audio Yeah you can upload them to the same place but this is where we have our podcast can go here and listen pretty cool all right so the last thing I want to highlight here is back in Media or shuffles feature now I'm going to go ahead and change admin sights here for a second just because they're not I am again on this episode College Prep site I got most sites will have I is there a full with video here or a shuffle summer someone have both but it's kind of rare that is the case so I'll show you how we can utilize this Shuffle features hear the shuffle feature here to go away Ed and draw some attention to your site you know how you can use it to link to other parts of your side or external or any outside pages in whatever you want to link it to but I will show you how you can do that now or now we are here on my little high school home page you'll see here we have a static image that is part of a shuffle all show you know how we can add a photo to it and then go ahead and Link that to a page will go over here to Media shuffles we'll find our main Shuffle. go up here to upload media will upload I'm in here okay first thing you always want to do add that also I know this image that I added this is a way to get more ears on the principal cast I'm going to go ahead and I had created this graphic here and I'm going to go ahead and do this to the the direct page so people can go and listen to our principal podcast all right now if we want to go ahead and leave this to the correct Paige so go over
