alrighty everybody thank you so much for joining us today for this my adliya webinar. Today we are going to be looking at some of the exciting updates and enhancements that we have made it to the Ed Lee ocms as of late Hartselle let's jump in do it now the first thing we are going to be looking at is broadcast broadcast is our all-in-one messaging tool right here from your cmsu can send out voice calls text emails all from the CMS here but we have added some new options there for you so what's happened here we go here to announce and broadcast not remember broadcast it is a add-on feature here right so you know do you know anything you know text voice calls you know any other third-party platform you might want to consider a broadcast to your it's pretty pretty powerful so you see here we always have that email text invoice he was broadcast but now you go ahead and I had push and a social media integration to your right so we we can integrate with Twitter Facebook Instagram so if you want to go ahead and get your message out to as many people as possible this is the best way to do it right now I'm going to show you how we can go ahead and we've already done plenty of webinars on I'm utilizing the email text and voice a portion of broadcast here and utilize the certification that push notification that is going to go you're at you're at right so everybody who has a legal team that has access to the school news at by Elio with that you can hop in there are your parents can hop in there should say And subscribe the school that way when you're putting up push computer from broadcast they get those straight to their phone right you want to announce a school closure no school closing early any any big announcement that you need to make you can do that from broadcast here and I'll go right to the school now we also have access and access Plus by Elio get mad as they brought another ad on feature that is a personalized School a pot specifically for your school or district is very powerful deadly look at definitely recommend reaching out to your client success specialist if that is something you're interested in Ben Ross going to head here and push up so with this site that we're going to be using today at Leo College Prep we have our Twitter account connect to this I'll show you how you can go in afterwards here where you can go in and I'm in a great Facebook and Instagram if that is some you also want to go ahead and integrate all right so the first thing we want to do is give our broadcast a name so we'll do a school closure all right all right so notification subject here school is closed today please enjoy the snowfall see you tomorrow keeping it real short simple there now all you see are you have 150 characters to use their if you want to add any link or anything like that I'm looks that you've you've put out of the news-item right to your homepage here with the other ocms on your your school homepage are you going to add a link to that there but then down here will go ahead and add our social media message as well and I remember this is Twitter so we do have 280 characters to use their so we'll just go ahead and use our same messaging here all right down here this is where you can add that translation I was just talkin about as well go ahead wanted some espanol you think of that is currently working I know we have that Translate and as well if you want to add any photos or anything to your Twitter post you can do that here or video as well we won't be doing that today I'm going to go ahead and continue all right you can see here we're going to be sending out so we're going to sing at that push mower it's going to be sent to everybody utilizing the school news app by Adele who is subscribed to edlio college prep remember they're only going to get it if they are subscribed to your school and then here we're going to have two tweets I want for each language Rex week the translation for Spanish going to go ahead now and send that Loom easy enough look at that a broadcast sent now here you see on my phone right here schools closed we have the notification there when I go ahead and click that and look at that right there all the information you need pretty cool I just one more anything you can do from your at the ocms all right next up for what is new deadliest EMS add a news recently you might have noticed you can now add videos to your news announced on here so let's go ahead and take a look you're going to do an ounce using alerts I will go ahead and add some new or anyone to post that whatever news category have here was to our news and announcements with the added to our homepage I'll go hear school is closed today and then same thing as before enjoy the snowy weather now you have two places where you can add the video here we need to go here into our content gold play button here this is where you can go ahead and embedded video if you want all right so here we go in bed so if you have a video you already you know you want to add from Lionel video YouTube or any other public video that has you know sharing capabilities like this when I have this one ready to go here the holidays coming up will throw in this Peanuts Christmas special song I see you what I did there was I just grab the embed code are y'all here when a pace that embed code save it there we have that also down here you can also add a video directly from the CMA so he added go to the CMAs you want to add that your news as well you can do that here and then you can go here to actually go ahead and upload the video if you haven't done that already alright just one more way to get your news out there you know a lot of people want to watch the news instead of reading it so this is one way you can kind of make your your news more accessible on to your entire School Community will click save their take a look at the homepage here we'll see what that looks like all right Ariel easy enough all right awesome have that ready to go let's take a look at our next feature and that is links all right go to hear page management and then links and really what we want to highlight here are the new icons that we've added here alright CC here we have these little icons like a long with all of your schooling so we just open the actual page itself we have these adorable little icon next to it we've added a whole bunch of new because you can use there so many lives, you just want to ask me as an example coming here we can replace that you just scroll through we have tons and tons of new icons for you to use to be constantly updating what's a you know you have on you really want us to start using I reach out your client success specialist and let them know right so we can pass that along to our product team and it's one of those things where you're the more we hear about it the more likely it's going to be able to make it right definitely you know if there's a change for you if you want to get a new icon it was really any change you want to see miss you must let your client success specialist know cuz they will be the best person to go ahead and pass that feedback along to our product feedback team but again here like country to use to make sure your links pages are looking amazing again if you want you no more in-depth look at how to use the links feature check back one of her old webinars or help sensor we have a great article on that deadly recommend checking it yes new icon that looks very exciting or I do next up we are going to be taking a look at a a new a handsome user management out of this is something that can be done at the individual level right so whether or not you are an add a web admin or just a regular user this change can be done on both sides right now I'm going to hop over here to our staff directory we come over here I'll go to my Patriot Daniel Benson are you on here we see right here we have my email address listed my phone number here these are in my user profile and it right now we currently have a set up at the school level where to my teacher page here they can get that information or here on the staff directory they can go ahead and send me an email right there depending on how you were adamant has your site set up a contact in a contact here or something like that or could it have the email address like here but however you have it set up let's say you as an individual you do not want that information there I'll show you how we can now turn that off at the end of a jewel level all right so let's say we are logged in here to be able to see mess we come up here to account profile hope you're to edit your profile and then regardless whether or not if you have the stuff down here or not you know it depends on whether or not you are an admin but everybody will have this information up here right below email we have this option don't allow visitors to contact me by email look like that will come down here quick save come back over here to the staff directory I will go and refresh. Look at that my email address is no longer listed they're all right so I just want to be a newest updates to our user management that change it's going to be it's going to go ahead and take effect on the everywhere on the public site where your user profile is right so a staff that page blocks or just the actual public staff directory personal page is out me to Legacy staff categories in sections things like that don't take away your email address there so no one is able to contact you from the site here the last feature we're going to take a look at today as far as our updates are concerned our right here is our forms feature lady beavers you are now able to go ahead and print responses are to your form so we come in here let's see we'll come over here and we'll get these three dots will get a lot of responses all right I hear you always go ahead print up here either I go ahead and print all of them on a response on a separate page or all together without any sort of page break up as an easy way to go ahead and print out all of the responses instead of having to go into each one individually I was pretty nifty if you do need to go ahead and print out any of your form responses I know I think we're going to highlight today also in our forms feature here is the ability to refund partial it's all right let's go up here as soon as if you do if you have forms with pay on if you don't have it please reject your client success specialist it is a free feature to use on so I definitely recommend you know utilizing it if you know you have any interest school spirit things like school spirit store or anything like that with you you know your school is flexing payments in any form I recommend getting it in a greats beautiful here with the ugliest EMS makes you know collecting payments in credit easy here I'll show you a peer mentor for any forms that do have any sort of a payment field here I come up here to payment reports transaction report are you want to go ahead and select a transaction to refund so quickly this one here I don't think the refund button up here all right then here you want to go ahead you can put in the refund reason and then here you can put in the amount so let's say you know you you only need to refund a portion of this is where you can do that here previously you were only able to a refund of the entire amount now you can go ahead and specify a specific amount if you aren't refunding the entire transaction alright pretty cool and that'll wrap things up for this edition of what's new at edlio I have any questions concerns please reach out to your client success specialist we are always always happy to help if you're not sure who your client success specialist is please reach out to client success at at Leo.
